A pale moon holds the middle with a small knot worked into its face. On either side stands a large crescent drawn as hammered pewter and filled with interlace. Below them a spread of gold pinecones and leaves fans out from a pointed knot pendant. The velvet behind is mottled teal and green washing into amethyst, so the colour shifts as the eye moves outward. A wide braid frames the disc, another knot medallion marks the front
